This is the small page that is supposed to be about the people who currently run SimNinja. Unfortunately, the only person running this place at the moment is me.
Who am I?
I'm just a poor college student who likes to play the sims, doesn't like having to pay for things that the games TOS says should be free, and who hates shopping lists. Even more so, I hate shopping lists that lead me to dead sites, so I decided that I should help other players like myself who want to know where to find the good content, the free content, without having to search 50 different websites and forums to get the links, only to find out i've been directed to a dead site...or worse, one that shows me the content, gets my mouth watering, and then hits me with the "you must be a donator to download this item" message.
why did I name the site "Sim Ninja"?
Because some people aren't comfortable being a pirate. This site is the comfortable alternative. You don't have to sign up for an account anywhere, or post a million posts on a forum to find out whether a site is a pay site or a free site. Ninjas can safely lurk in the background, taking note of which sites are free, and which are not, and then add the ones that are free to the database here, so that others can visit them from one handy link page.
This is where the Ninjas who are the most active in helping hunt down completely free sites will receive special recognition (if they want). If they choose not to be named, the award plaque will simply read "Anonymous Ninja" or "Ninja Who Must Not Be Named", with a link to the site of their choice.
This month's featured Ninja's site of choice is DaniCast's Sims 2 Blog.
I will put up the award image for her to host on her site as soon as I finish creating it.
Ninjas on this list have provided one or two links, or warned of dead links in our active sections, but have not declared a wish to become Active Ninjas. Honorary Ninjas will still be listed in the credits for the page they helped to improve, but will not recieve a personalized Ninja brand, or be eligible for Ninja of the Month.
You can still be a pirate and a ninja at the same time, but Sim Ninja is not taking an official stance on the issue of paysite piracy. We only ask that you not link Sim Ninja to any pay or pay for donate sites in our guestbook or forums. Thank you.
