Welcome to Sim Ninja, a free Sims 1 and 2 (and in the future 3) community dedicated to linking you to sites that offer COMPLETELY FREE content for the the popular Life Simulation games from EAxis.
Why did I make this?
Well, you see, there is currently a debate going on in the sims community about sites that ask you to pay for custom content. (you can see a topic discussing just this issue here)
I myself am not a content creator. The most I've ever done is make a green flamingo and a few rugs in T-Mog for the original Sims game once upon a time. >.> I think they're still up on the site who's url and password I have already forgotten.
Instead, I prefer to be a downloader, a player, and a ninja, lurking in the guest areas of your free sites and judging you according to how well put together your items are, how easy it is to get to them, and whether you link your recolors to meshes that are impossible to get (or require me to subscribe/pay to get to them).
Free sites that offer content that requires meshes that are hosted on "dead" sites will have a (#) next to their name.
Free sites that require meshes hosted on pay sites (sites that offer exclusive content for a fee or a "donation") will have a ($) next to their name. These sites may be eligible for a "Ninja's Choice" rating, depending on whether the content linked to is paid or free. Maybe.
Free sites that require meshes hosted on subscription sites (sites that require you to subscribe to access most or all of their content) will have a (X) next to their name. These sites will NOT be eligible to earn a "Ninja's Choice" rating from Sim Ninja.
This is the reward box for for the Sim Ninja's pick of the month. Only sims content or information sites with COMPLETELY free content, whose links to required meshes are mostly accessible/aquirable without subscription and/or payment are eligible.
This months site is DaniCast's Sims 2 Blog. She offers completely free downloads of custom models (born in game and created), Genetics (including an amazing PoliTech replacement), and a few simple but quite astonishing mods, including one for changing the default maxis sky to a beatiful realistic one, which makes wonderful backgrounds to Sim photostories.

3/19/2009 ~ Sim Ninja officially opens.
If you know of a free site that we don't have listed here, head over to the forum and drop us a line. The more people help us find sites, the faster we'll grow, and the more useful this free resource will be.
